A Lighter Eating Shortbread
Why make something good, better?
Shortbread is a well-loved, classic biscuit, rich in butter and dense in texture. However, its tendency to heavily coat the mouth is not to everyone’s liking. Seeing an opportunity for a new, lighter eating shortbread, we responded by creating a shortbread that is equally rich and delicious, but made with a mixture of wheat and rice flour to create a texture that is crunchy and more delicate.
Isn’t shortbread Scottish?
A butter-rich, lighter eating biscuit is our bakery’s signature. We may not have tartan on the packet, but the word shortbread is international and associated with Britain.
No shortcuts in quality
Our shortbread is all-butter and made from 100% natural ingredients.
Something different: Hazelnut
Alongside the classic, we are introducing a Hazelnut Short & Sweet shortbread. The butter and hazelnuts make a very happy marriage of flavours - warm, mellow and more-ish.
